I would rock your socks off… if I really played drums. Sometimes I actually start beating on the most expensive stolen drum set in my mind, and wishes come true. But good drummers spend years drumming on more than a keyboard. Writing workshops and courses never taught me how to play the drums. I guess I just have a gift.
It’s possible I was a Monkee during a terrible acid trip one year, but that’s a different story for a memoir.
