The Sucker’s Survival Guide To Radio

Don’t Tell A Soul

The Earth is round but everyone has their own opinion.

We all suck from different lollipops. No lollipop is the same. Music is sweetness, but sucking too hard matters no more. Sometimes what’s buried deep in a soul is like the hidden treasure found on pirate radio. A cruise ship stops for the drunk narcissists who enjoy hearing themselves talk. This ship is going down.

Staying Alive

Music is personal, like the teenager not telling you about late nights curling up in bed with a teddy bear and a transistor radio.

Soul Radio

Hunger is real, but what’s future radio?

Terrestrial radio is anything that’s not satellite radio, internet radio, music services, podcasts, or your own playlists or a book-on-tape. The Renaissance saw the beginning of terrestrial radio and the Technossance saw its death. The Black Plague hit early in the morning. The alarm went off in darkness. I had a runny nose, so I got out of bed, got into the car and went driving, listening to WRICH Radio and crazy ideas.

The woman who did my drive-thru COVID nasal swab test had so much to say about Lionheart media formats from WRICH to WOW Radio Metal on new internet radio.

Fewer people tune into terrestrial radio. So what is everyone listening to?

And be careful who checks out the soul kitchen where the magic happens.
