The Early Issues

Lionheart

It wasn’t Camelot and it wasn’t Clown Town. It was Brewington and a very special place. I almost gave it all away. I kept the beer, but gave away the music. The magazine was maddening, but crazy fun.

Bad Company’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy tune sucking dry the old CD player. Then reflection. I’m a good listener and an even better drummer in my dreams. I’m worse at running a company. It’s no longer in my incapable hands. I was merely the interim leader. Lionheart Enterprises® is a fabrication business. A taste of The Buck Burgers eatery or Brewington Beer at the Lionheart brewery. They’re practically giving away guitars at Lionheart Axes. The radio network includes LUCKY 108.9 FM, WRICH 109.9 FM, WOW 87.7 FM and AM 2200. RTTV fades to black.

What was in my hands were bad ideas and Palmolive dishwashing liquid for my wife. Sure, it really rocks.

Most of my inspiration came from other monsters and men, which is YouTube and all bad company but fun as hell.

Once upon a time, I was Lionheart’s interim president who created radio shows for stations. Funny thing is, no one ever asked me how to launch their own radio network. It’s actually pretty easy to get one off the ground — though the process can leave you feeling borderline manic and strangely hollow, but tragically rich. It’s not that bad.

What’s wild is realizing just how much time disappears into the grind. In the end, it’s really not worth the stress or the burnout. But if there’s one consolation, it’s the music — beautiful and endless — still, the writing is more fun, even if the journey getting there nearly drives you mad. Almost like reading Mad Magazine. It’s really Lionheart.

Roski Energy

Roski Energy, a wealthy Russian company, has been a generous sponsor. The Lionheart Network owes them. Just got a WRICH call from Joan back from the dead. I listened and I agreed. How could I resist going to Pittsburgh?

Joan’s Phone Call

Time to blast off. I’m writing, editing, drumming, or listening to music to whittle away time.

Focused on what matters. That’s me. I was merely the 5th Monkee. The forgotten band member.

It's easy to get your own radio network on the air, but it can make you suicidally depressed.
